Waste Management Services in Western Macedonia, Greece

Services to be provided include:

• The collection and transportation of conventional general, recyclable and biodegradable household solid waste (MSW) at from the local authorities of the Region of Western Macedonia.

• The transshipment, storage and transportation of recyclable, biodegradable (organic kitchen household waste) and other municipal solid waste (MSW) (except excluding mixed) through from the existing 10 Waste Management Local Area Units Network.

• The operation of the Central Integrated Management Facilities.

• The maintenance of fixed and mobile existing machinery used for the collection of MSW, transshipment and transport, landfilling, slicing, sorting of various MSW, as well as the maintenance of fixed installations and the Central Integrated Management Facilities.

• The environmental monitoring of the Central Integrated Management Facilities , the collection and statistical analysis of data from the Waste Management Local Area Network Units and the Central Integrated Management Facilities. , as well as the system for monitoring and organizing the operation and maintenance of the system for which the services are provided.
